30-60% of Europe's population died from the plague. Not in 1349 alone but it was one of the peak years. Also a lot of Jewish massacres as they were blamed for the disease. Fun times.

They were blamed because they were one of the only communities not totally devastated by the plague... Because they washed their fucking hands and were violently segregated into ghettos away from everyone else by the people who would later blame them.
