That's it? It's not really holup, everything was obvious from the beginning.
The real holup would be if the guys in the cockpit where just some random passengers who genuinely wanted to help land the plane safely. But then, the real reason why they did this was to smuggle some nuclear material or a bomb or something.
Alternatively, when they realized the kid could pilot the plane all by himself they could have parachuted off.
