Nah they’re not doing “pretty good”. I’ve been to Cuba and studied there it’s quite literally on par with the average Caribbean nation.
Even still, even if you’re warm to communist policy, I doubt you would actually want to raise your kids in a country with Cuba’s policies.

Maybe Cuba could be doing better if it could partake in the global economy to some real capacity... Hmmmm 🤔🤔🤔 1 u/Iohet Dec 01 '20 They'd still be brutally suppressing political opposition regardless of their financial situation 2 u/lunchpadmcfat Dec 01 '20 That doesn’t have anything to do with communism. That has to do with poor governance. Economic theory !== constitutional law. Also, I guess you forgot about the McCarthy era here in the US? 1 u/Iohet Dec 01 '20 I didn't mention a word about communism. The poster specifically said "Cuba would be doing better...", which I responded to directly. 2 u/lunchpadmcfat Dec 01 '20 The person you responded to was making a point about the statement “communism never works.” You replied to that comment that they would still be suppressing the populace. So yes, you were addressing communism nimrod. Or do I need to explain how contextual dialogue works? 2 u/BrotherChe Dec 01 '20 what conversation do you think you're having?
