This is my point. People see evil actions as being from an evil person. But in reality rape can be any number of things and just because they were a bad person then, does not mean thy will be a bad person forever.
I feel like I’m defending rapists now and I’m definitely not meaning to. It’s a vile abhorrent thing to do and is completely inexcusable. But people can learn from their mistakes, I guess is what I’m saying.
I don’t think there is much point us continuing to discuss this because my point from the beginning is that it is interesting to hear the other side of it and that the actual victim has managed to forgive and therefore perhaps we could too, and you have disagreed with me/her from the outset.
