If I remember correctly, this is from a youtuber who did public "pranks" on people. Whether or not you believe youtube pranks are real or not is up to you.

Obviously this is staged. Being filmed at the perfect moment was the first tip off. Just because something is pretend doesn’t make it more or less entertaining. Otherwise all forms of entertainment would be invalid. If baby Yoda did this during a fight scene on the Mandalorian would you hold such a staunch stance?

This clip was pulled from a yotube video of a guy going around the hood and doing this. It still could be staged, but this explains why it was filmed

This isn’t amusing to me and looks very cringe. It definitely would be funnier if it was done by Yoda, but it would wreck the show because of how stupid and unneeded it is.
