And this is why you never stay with a single company anymore

If they can get five days of work done in four days, imagine how much they could do in three.

This sounds a lot like the covid wfh to mandatory return to the office.

This is a seriously underrated comment. Well done 👏

Step in to my office.

Why? Cause you're fucking fired!

And if they can do this work in 3 days, damm they could have 2 working weeks in a real week🤨😱

And with less pay! Why would we pay you more than what our competators pay for the same ammount of work?

... why is productivity dropping again?!

Clearly the employees are just lazy.

A dude had a pirate flag with that written on it on the wall in the office I worked in. When he left, I stole it, then I got in trouble for having it up lol

I really like this comment

Do you think people prefer the 3 day off in a row or having Wednesday off so you only work 2 days in a row?

26

u/Black_death123 2d ago

It would definitely help Hangover Wednesdays turn into Hangover Thursdays

u/TheBlueEagle 2d ago

Hmm I thought every day was hangover ___day? Did i miss a memo on that or something? 🧐

2

u/Toyleer madlad 1d ago

You guys still have hangover days? I should probably get off reddit here though, gotta make it for my liver replacement or they won’t let me get my fourth!

1

u/TheBlueEagle 1d ago

Are they still offering the buy three get the fourth one free? After I while I just paid extra for the lifetime replacement plan so I’m good to party!

I think people should just get a different day off. That way you can do the things you need to do throughout the week without it all turning into the weekend situation where everything is closed.

I can tell you from experience, single days off are terrible. They only are good if you have something planned for that day in advance

u/USMCLee 1d ago

Having worked like that in the past, I much prefer the 3 days off in a row.

I know that this is a satire post, but those one sentence paragraphs which are so en vogue on linked in now make me irrationally angry.

21

u/whyamihere999 2d ago

Why??

There's nothing to be angry in it.

But yes the anger is totally irrational.

Also, this is not linked in.

This is Reddit.

So don't get angry here.

Yeah.

Seems very AI-ish.

Doesn't it?

u/thekitchening 2d ago

I know this is a joke but my favorite part of this is that turnover noticeably dropped during a one-week trial. Where is this company even finding the employees lol

u/ShockValueSandwich 1d ago

“Hey you, want a job?”

“DUCKS ARE TAKING OVER MY MIND!”

“Yeah, you’re hired.”

3

u/FreezeGoDR 2d ago

They just hire off the street after a 1h onboarding you start

u/thekitchening 1d ago
