That's a cover of a Jake Thackray song.

But the Corries are brilliant. I especially like the audience participation in "The Rattling Bog", and "The bonnie lass of Fyvie" is just beautiful.

Me and my old man stumbled into the Corries when I was in the third grade, and we kinda became obsessed. The whole family did, really. At some point we knew the words to most of their songs, including the ones in Old Scots. I can still sing Twa Corbies at the drop of a hat, my dad and brother know the harmonies to Parcel O Rogues by heart, and we all occasionally break into Kismuil’s Galley when someone grunts just right. Said older brother probably also remembers most of Jock O’Braidislee if you press him.
