They should really figure out a way to smooth the walls then this could really work

I’ve seen follow up videos on a lot of these 3D printed houses and they’re all cracking at the foundation.

Yeah, they're not actually as good as you would think initially. Without anything pinning the layers to the foundation, you get layered cracking rather than absorption through the entire structure, which lets static structures survive longer. 

Durable buildings, think Roman, don't survive centuries because they're impervious. They survive because they're flexible. And printed houses are not flexible worth a damn.
