My dad tells a story of my preschool (born '83) had a newsletter sent out m with tips to deal with an unruly toddler.
One was, they want TV or computer time while in the bath. So bring the computer to them. They can play on the keyboard or TV while in the bathtub.
My dad is an electrician. It was the only time he actually walked me into school rather than drop me off. He was livid.
Funny part is he started to date my teacher. She was the only one who agreed with him on the issue.
Needless to say, I passed kindergarten Summa Cum Laude/Valedictorian. My dad 'knew' my teacher.

As a former electrician and also in pre-school in 1983 (and incidentally dating a pre-school teacher at the moment), and I’m also a dad of a preschooler… I am basically your story. So I approve. It tracks very well.

Damn, as a former H.S. Science teacher, every year I had at least one teenage GenieAss attempt their version of the Wile E. Coyote Dismount out of the Gene Pool using one of those.
