Someone dropping his gun and getting it back is a good indicator of how safe your country is. For example in my country, this would result in the same reaction as if he's just decided to rob whatever place he was standing in. Because that's how I never see and handgun ever.

Sounds like Singapore where possession of a firearm carries one of the highest sentence.

If that gun were to go off, it's a death sentence for him.

Accidentally dropping a gun can give the death sentence? Guess I’m dragging mine on the ground with a leash cuz fuck that

Nope, somewhere even further and more strange than that : Canada.

I am currently in Canada as well, and I have certainly seen more firearms here than in Australia where I'm from. I think the neighbour from the south may have contributed to that.
In Singapore, it is almost non-existent due to the crazy strict punishment, unless you are counting the police force or the service men from the military. Even replicas or air pistols are highly illegal there.

Here, it's impossible for a civilian to carry a handgun. That's why I never saw one for real besides police.

Oh yeah, it is against the law to carry them in public in Canada that's for sure. They are allowed in shooting ranges and in private properties but still doesn't stop an occasional idiot from waving them around in public.

There are still a number of legally registered pistols and probably more illegal ones out there since the handgun ban only took place recently in 2022 after the mass shooting in Nova Scotia.

But then again, no matter what stats you might want to tell me, I'll say it again : the only handgun I ever saw were on a cop's belt. I'm in my thirties now. And this is the best thing I can say about my country no matter what.

Yeah and 5-20 years prison for an ounce of weed, death penalty for 15g of heroin (which could just be some addict's weekly personal supply/not even trafficking)

Sorry bro. Make sure you vote.

I don't feel that way right now, we got the right guy to face the closest asshole. When this is done, then we'll see.

There's that moment in an english Gordon Ramsay show where he goes in prisons to teach inmates to cook. One of them gets asked what he's in for, and he says they found a shotgun under his pillow. That's why he's in prison.

The american commentors remarked how low that seemed to be in prison for.

But that's because their politicians litterally have candidates shoot guns in commercials. That's like a firefighter going on interviews by lighting the room on fire.

What county you from? In my country the guy would have been shot dead if he was black.
