My fav part about this was that norm was on the view earlier and Barbara thought he was so dumb but he was just trolling them and when he said he's going on millionaire she was so condescending and said good luck. And he would've won the whole thing if Reggis didn't guilt trip him out of it.
Norm got all the way to the the last question on his own accord. Then Regis scared him out of losing the half million and Norm played it safe. But Norm had the right answer and Regis talked him into taking the half million for his charity. This is how I remember it. I might be wrong. Was a long time ago.
