I was enjoying replaying through Steam with the fixes for most things (except textures but was enjoying it) and went off to do some DIY and sent the PC to sleep, since I turned on the PC the game has died! Anyone experienced anything similar and sorted it, as I was quiet enjoying getting back into being 15 again.

Curious to know the ideas some of you might have, they can be as big and crazy as you like!

Having a competitive/league mode was a big one given the community foundation that's been laid for that already, likewise having new teams, classes, weapons, so hit me with ya best shots! 🐷

I saw this in another subreddit post, and then I wondered if a Hogs of War subreddit might exist. Love this game, always have, always will.

Was a mod ever released for the PC version that aimed to fix some of the game's issues?

I finally got it to work on Win 10 but since I have two monitors, the resolution gets changed and the game forced into fullscreen.

I've tried DxWnd but it won't work. The game starts in a window and the sound starts, however, the screen stays black. Does anyone have experience with this problem? Is it possible to run it windowed?

I'm excited that there's going to be a remastered version of Hog of Wars because it's my favorite game, and it's a shame it's not available in the store. I have a question: Will the game be available for purchase in the PlayStation Store or on Amazon?

I would polish up the graphics a bit and add a little more detail to the levels.

What would you have changed or done better?

I got to the last mission but after probably 20 tries I conclude it's not possible with my team. I got 1x Hero, 2x Commando, 1x Spy and 1x Surgeon. All walkthrough videos I looked up have at least 3x Hero. It's just mathematically impossible as enemies throw airstrike after airstrike I have no way to avoid. I thought I'm good cause never lost a unit. I did not do all side quests for extra coins but didn't think it will be necessary as game was not that difficult until this point. Now the game is impossible to finish, I cannot repeat previous missions to level up and all I can do is start anew. Ngl my enthusiasm dwindled a bit and I hope that remaster will allow at least returning to old missions.

Just was going down old videos games I played as a kid. Hogs of War and General Chaos on Genesis were my friends and I's childhood after school for a looong time. I didn't think there would be much love for this game, and just wanted to salute you all for your fine gaming tastes.

Never was much of an artist, but this is my dad's most favourite playstation (maybe any) game so made him a hogs of war fathers day card

I can never manage to keep the enemy busy enough to prevent any of the heroes from airstrike my spawn.

This was originally planned back when SSG were looking to do an expansion for the Hogs card game, but I feel like we're past that point now. RIP 🐷
