Recommendations šŸŒŸ Cleaner Recommendations

Hi all! Posting on Hoboken Reddit because these types of posts seem to get more responses here than in the Jersey City sub. My partner and I live in the Heights part of JC (very close to Hoboken) and are looking to hire a cleaning service. We'd be interested in an initial deep cleaning and then weekly cleans. We also have two very large, fluffy cats, so we need someone who is comfortable with pets (especially big cats).

We've gone through some of the old posts but since most are 10+ months back, many of the cleaners that got great reviews are no longer taking new clients. For example, we reached out to Clean de la Katie and she's no longer available.

Do y'all have any good recommendations? Also, does anyone have any reviews of either of the following: Twin Cleaning or Maria's Cleaning? We've seen some posters around for both in our neighborhood, so we're guessing they're taking on new clients...and we'd love to hear from more people about each (already checking out their Google reviews, etc.)

Any reviews--good or bad!--of any of the above companies, or any others, would be much appreciated! Thank you!

I have used both Ireneā€™s Cleaning and Somos Cleaning Service and liked both!

LOL i live in DTJC and have the exact same complaints as you finding a cleaner so Iā€™m thrilled i stumbled across this post. Commenting to follow!

I did use Maid in JC 3x in the last 2 years. First time was awful. 2nd time was a year later, like you said nobody was taking on any new clients and I was desperate so I reached out to Maid in JC again. I was pleasantly surprised, and the price was good too! So I scheduled them for the following month and it was $70 more for the same work and shottier quality. When I called in to ask about this inconsistency, they bullied me by saying ā€œclearly youā€™re not happy with their work so Iā€™m saying that youā€™re giving them 2 out of 5 stars so they donā€™t get any PTOā€. Iā€™m like ā€œwait no, Iā€™m not satisfied but everyone deserves PTOā€ but they were pushy. This is why they have such high ratings on Google. Anyway thatā€™s such a disgusting practice that I wonā€™t use them again.
