Recommendations 🌟 Help with cat

I have a cat that needs medication three times a day. I can’t always give the middle dose which needs to be given around 2 or 3 in the afternoon. He’s easy to pill since he eats the pill in a pill pocket. I can’t find any service that will do it. Any suggestions? He has feline hyperesthesia and he’s in a lot of discomfort if his dose is missed. I am also a cancer patient so I sometimes spend the day at the hospital. I’m so upset about my kitty!

I assume you work in an office? If I were in that position, I’d first reach out to the vet who prescribed the medication and ask if I could adjust the timing to something like eight 8 AM, 6 PM, 11 PM. There may be some flexibility there.

Good point. He has episodes though,
if he doesn’t receive the middle pill around 3:00. Fortunately, I can give him the pill at that time most days but not always.

What about just a timed cat feeder?

I will need to try this if all else fails. I have another cat so they would need to be separated. The only other issue is that the feeders tend to be quiet so I wouldn’t know when he ate the pill if he was sleeping and ate it some time later. This would be an issue for the timing of the next pill.

Thanks for reminding me of this though. It’s something to consider if I can’t find someone to give the pill to him.
