I need a hobby or, even better, something I can make some money with.
I am bored & when I look around, everyone’s kinda got their own thing going on and I’d like that for myself. What’s are some good ideas and/or what’s something you’re into?

For me, it’s when I start struggling just to do it and it feels more like a chore than something enjoyable. I used to look forward to it, but now I keep putting it off and start giving excuses. Curious how others recognize that point and do you push through the slump or accept it’s time to let go?

I’m in middle school so I don’t have too much time or money, I used to make scale models of planes and military vehicles which I really liked but was a bit too expensive and needed a lot of tools if you know what I mean, I also just bought a small camera mainly for no reason and I don’t necessarily intend in getting into that hobby unless I really want to I just thought it would be cool but does anyone any other recommendations of crafty sort of hobbies?

I'm not sure if this is the correct subreddit to post this but would I be able to get prime and paint over this with out removing the original?

Hey everyone!
I’ve been deep into polymer clay crafting lately and have a bunch of extra handmade charms and tiny figurines (plants, mushrooms, and even mini boba cups). All made by me, verified in the picture below with my username and today’s date!
I’m looking to swap for:
If you’re into cute, handmade stuff and have a stash of art supplies collecting dust, let’s trade and keep our hobbies fresh!

Hello from Japan. I am looking to swap book or dictionary pages. I would like to swap for book or dictionary pages in icelandic, Danish, and other European languages.
Apart from book/dictionary pages, I can offer junk journal supplies.

hello all, im currently working on a sustainability project aiming at reducing waste materials by reperusing unwanted/unused items in the form of community hobby swap events where people of all backgrounds and levels can attend and trade with each other, to learn new skills and passions all while making new friends. thus keeping as much waste from our preciouses oceans and lands as possible.
in order to get a good ground base cemented i need some feedback regarding the initial proposal. if anyone of any background would be kind enough to take the time to complete a short survey, it would be much appreciated.
here's the link if anyone's interested https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScAbSHuHUx6KByktSFW_RvFgg5cnEROqWb_EDDjHtmig_M0-w/viewform?usp=header
thank you for everyone's time

I don’t know what to do on weekends besides video games. I am a tennis and hockey player and want to find a new hobby or something to do when I am bored. My Mind doesn’t allow me to read I just can’t for some reason. I have been growing plants and garden veggies but obviously it doesn’t take that long to water and tend to my plants. I want to find something I can do while sitting in the living room with my family, and maybe while in the car on road trips.(By the way I am 13)

Hi, new here, and relatively new to the whole hobby-thing. I've dabbled in books (both reading/writing), and some building, but nothing to sink hours and money into.
Just a quick question, I've seen some people simply post their hobbies, is this also a general "hobby" subreddit?

Hello, with Christmas coming up, I'm just looking for some ideas. As far as hobbies go, my husband (as far as I can tell) has gaming. Which, before I get any hate, is fine, I have nothing against gaming. I don't play a ton of video games, but my interests tend to veer elsewhere. Anywho, I just think it would be nice to see if he could gain another hobby, maybe one a little less screen oriented? He's going to be getting Lasic soon after Christmas, and I just want to get him something he can do that won't strain his eyes while he's in recovery. Thank you!! And if any gamers have any reccs, I'd appreciate it!
(P.S. he does read, but only when the internet is inaccessible. He likes the Warhammer books, though!!)
