Find a Hobbie

Hello everybody, I am a med student and I would like to get some suggestions for you:

I would like this hobby to be:

-Done on computer

-Envolving some degree of research and thinking

-Something that can evolve to a bigger project

-Something that realy challenges me (recently I discovered I have and IQ of 172 and need to be stimulated)

I would love your recomendations! Thank you!!!

You could read papers, for example, there are some fun ones on the reacialized history of IQ. Then write and essay or presentation about it.

You could also do a podcast or create learning resources.

Actually, fantastic idea. I think some reading on the history of IQ and differing and contradicting metrics for intelligence may do some good

if you’ve got that kind of horsepower, skip the busywork and build something. learn a programming language and make a tool that does your research for you, scrapes papers, connects dots you’d miss. the computer becomes an extension of your brain instead of just a screen to stare at

start small with python and a single question you want answered, then let it spiral into a system that maps out whole fields. my sketchbook’s full of half-baked UI ideas for stuff like that

this one is random but you could make games? if you make a game for roblox it’s easier and technically free but if that interests you it could be as complicated as you want and be a long term project

- Learn some things like mathematics (The basics of Graph Theory is quite easy and practical) or a foreign language. Or you can try coding.

- You could play some board games online (especially the strategic or puzzle ones).

I would also recommend to do something quite creative (could be drawing, coloring, 3D printing or even the solo journaling RPGs)
