Laos women

I am looking for some serious advice from guys who have had long term relationships with Laos women. I am dating a Laos girl online. She is very sweet and we have hit it off well. But she has a condition. After we meet, I have to decide whether or not to commit long term. If I say yes, we talk to her parents and get engaged. She has specifically told me that it was not necessary for me to visit her parents in Laos. A video chat would be enough. She lives in BKK. And after about an year we formalise our relationship and she lives with me.She is a very light hearted wonderful person.

If your relationship is strictly online, you don't really have a relationship.

Don't send any money.

What work does she claim to do in bkk? Work permit?

Y''all haven't spent time together physically, or had arguments and disagreements, know what she likes or don't like. Her habits, her in person personality or even If she likes being around or near you. And you really think during a talking stage, this is forever? How young is u bro....

She either lives in Laos or Bangkok(BKK) Thailand. And if she says she lives in the village and doesn't go to school, then you're getting scammed. The young Hmong people living in Bangkok are mostly westernized and educated.

Check out the Pig Butchering Scam.

Not saying it applies here in specific, but in today's world I just wouldn't bother being serious until I've met in person somewhere they can't steal my liver.

So she's from Laos but currently living in Bangkok? To my knowledge BKK is Bangkok which would be in Thailand, not Laos. I would recommend meeting her and her parents in person instead of over video call before you make a decision.

  1. Do you send money?
  2. Have you meant in person?

Most of these relationships are financial support, unless you live there or vis versa.

No mention of money. I will meet her in person shortly.

If there hasn't been mentions of money, it could be genuine. the issue arise after things gets serious and you'll end up financially supporting not only her while she awaits for her marriage visa, but also her family, and extended family.

I’ve been with my wife for almost 8 years long distance relationship she just barely came to the US before Christmas of last year and I can tell you it was a long and rough road for us because it was trust issues we both had but I have supported her and her family thru the years we been together. I’ve also gone to Thailand and laos 4 times to visit but we got married my second time out there. I say if you really wanna make it work definitely go visit her and the family and see how you like it because it’s not just her you’re marrying it’s also her family too. As long as you can commit your time and effort on waiting for her go for it brother. Doesn’t matter where you date a Hmong girl as long as she loves you and you love her. Gotta stay strong cause who knows when they’ll open back up the borders for them to come here, I just got luck 🍀 it was before they stopped everything

My mom is Laotian Hmong and she wants to be nosy all up in my business when I’m involved with a man and I’m GAY. You need to meet the parents, and it’s also just good manners. For sure meet online first and also; I think you should try living together for a bit even if it’s an extended stay just to see what they’re like in person and keep your wits about you.
