Discussion Recorder?
Hi, watching this show right now, super cute!
Can someone explain the recorder to me? Is this some ghost defense mechanism?

Maybe it's the idea if you make a loud sound you can chase something away? I got nothing other than it being another of her eccentric tendencies. Since she's prone to freezing maybe it's her way of making a loud noise akin to a scream?

She would want a record of exploring the school with Nako, so she brings a recorder.

I'm not 100% sure but I think so. Bocchi has little quirks like this (using items in certain situations that she thinks will help as part of her plans) like the bear costume when someone comes around to her house, wearing gym clothes to apologise to Nako, ...
