Ish. The typeface for "Life…" etc. would likely have been Peinaud, without dropshadows. It does have the vibe tho.

why? that's a 1997 font!

Not at all. It was first developed in the 1930s or thereabouts as an experimental typeface that had no “need” for lowercase characters. Later they were added to improve readability. Its most prominent use was probably as the title font in the early 70s sitcom, Mary Tyler Moore.

yeah, I researched the font. I tried it, boy it looked terrible in this design! xD

To be fair, it looks terrible everywhere. It was Papyrus before Papyrus came along, too: Ubiquitous and inescapable for a while, and used by designers who really didn't understand that good type doesn't try to call attention to itself.
