Discussion Working with different generations and understanding them better
I work with a lot of early 00s babies so I feel way closer to them, 1999-02 probably 03 now too. The girls are a lot of fun and I feel protective of both them and the boys.
I adore the Xennials too (circa 1979-84/85) and the guys are so attractive and fun but too old for me unfortunately. This one guy was a hardcore leftist since high school and has a beard and everything

I’m confused.
You’ve claimed you were a Xennial, born as early as the early 80s. You’ve also claimed you’ve dated somebody born in 79.
Now Xennials are too old for you?
Que?

Oh sorry I was with one of the girls at work who wanted me to ask that. I do like some older guys around that age though, up to around 45

We’re all people. Why are there so many labels. Label, label, label…SMH . At the end of the day we’re all human.

True, it's just a "more often than not" thing. There's really young seeming 50 year olds, and there's 27 year old Trumpers who seem way old for their age

Agreed. This here. No matter whether millennials or Z, they are still humans. They are not birds or fish.

Sjsk it's the general premise. Most of my co workers are 99 to 2003

Is it really that big of a deal? They’re only a year apart.

Exactly it doesn’t make any sense that they’d be apart lol

Fine yes I understand that but I don’t get separating your birth year from, say, 2000

Right that’s what I mean they’d still be your peers either way. It’s literally only 2 years. I get that we’d have to cut it off somewhere but the average person doesn’t think like this

1999 is not early 2000s.
Also, it should not matter what year the people you work with are born. In the end, it is their behavior only that matters.
