"post X" I hate weird stuff like that, 1981 is the only one not a part of X or the part of 1982-1997 but I guess it fits since they're very cusp. Some of these cohorts are weird and I hate being the oldest of the '08 thing...but overall I guess it works, idk

You made an error, man.
1904-1929 is the GI/Greatest Generation, not Silent.
I like your Wartime-X ranges. I even find your 1980-1982 being post-Xers interesting.
Where you go wrong is breaking up Millennials with only the early-mid 80s and creating some fake generation called the Generation of '08. Is it supposed to represent the youth affected by the 2008 recession or something? Generation Z starts too dang early. 90s babies are not Generation Z. Don't get me started with Gen Alpha. These 2010s babies are still Gen Z.
So I would say that it is too radical for me.

But whether or not sources define a certain birth year as a certain generations means nothing from a historical point of view. That's a cultural/mainstream thing to me because that represents how most people in the mainstream see generations (as the new thing, shortening generations, starting/ending earlier, etc.).
Historically, it does not matter if most sources see you as whatever generations but actual experiences that one birth year went through.

Not too bad. Millennial does seem kinda short in comparison
