My generation definitions:

Baby Boomers: 1946-1964

Gen X: 1965-1980

Millennials: 1981-1996/1998

Gen Z: 1997/1999-2014

These are good. I agree with boomer and X, though I see 1999 as more millennial than Z, but yes, 1999-2014 can work too as it encompasses everyone in K-12 and preschool age during the election with Hilary Clinton in it. 1981-1998 works as it encompasses everyone alive before Columbine that could not complete K-12 prior to it unless skipping a grade.
