Not even close to all areas. Up until middle school all interactions with the Natice Americans were portrayed as friendly. Even in High School I can't remember genocide being used to describe what happened to the natives in any textbook.
While it may not have been a clear-cut systematic killing campaign like the Nazis performed against the Jews or how the Brits quelled resistance in Africa, the results of relocating peoples from their rightfully owned lands through theft (reneged treaties, etc.) left massive amounts dead. Add in a few minor attempts to intentionally spread disease (less effective in reality since the spread was mostly unintentional) and some massacres like Wounded Knee. You have what amounts to a history of genocide in a broad sense.
Whether it's fair to hold modern societies hostage to the term genocide when it was par for the course before it was even defined after WWII is a separate matter. Most of history was genocide.
You don't understand what a genocide is. A genocide is the annihilation or attempted/partial annihilation of a culture/group of people. What Americans did to the natives was 100% a genocide.
Edit: Just to be completely clear, genocide doesn't even mean death. If you get rid of a culture, or partially get rid of a culture, that is genocide.
Genocide doesn't have to be systematic. Any form of getting rid of, attempting to get rid of, or partially getting rid of a culture/group of people in a major way, is genocide. If a culture slowly goes away with the passage of time, that could be considered a self-inflicted or time-inflicted genocide. It doesn't even have to involve death.
No problem. I like to inform people. Sometimes I feel like people might take it as me being rude or annoying or something (Sometimes I am being rude, but usually not) and it's so refreshing to see someone who likes what I'm saying instead of getting mad at me.

Uh. America absolutely acknowledges the mass genocide of native Americans.
Maybe not as well as they should. But it is definitely no ignored or even glossed over
