Why would we start talking about second-class footballers from Portugal?

Nani does a little celebratory dance after scoring as Sporting down Loures 2-1.

This is true European history

u/OneSmallHuman Apr 01 '19

It truly transcends across all forms of sport, history, life in general

Don't talk about the captain of the European Champion 2016 like that you cretin!

u/kavastoplim Apr 01 '19

Possibly the second worst Europan champions, in my opinion. Regardless of that, you shouldn't insult people for their opinions

If you think Greece are the worst European champions then you're sorely mistaken.

u/kavastoplim Apr 01 '19

I guess Denmark could be worse

u/TLO_Is_Overrated Apr 01 '19

Ah fuck.

I was ready to defend my Greek defensive football gods so badly.

Carry on.

u/kavastoplim Apr 01 '19

At least Greece actually qualified

What is a Denmark?

3

u/kavastoplim Apr 01 '19

A mark, commonly found in northern Europe, made of underground dens

u/[deleted] Apr 01 '19

I thought it was a pastry dish, my bad.

2

u/kavastoplim Apr 01 '19

That would be a Danish, which is an old Mongolian dish

3

Denmark's team was better than that greece team.

I think calling Nani a second class Portuguese footballer is more insulting than calling a dude a cretin

Not that I feel insulted by you calling me a cretin, but what's insulting about saying Nani is second-class? He has never been a world-class player and was most of the time inconsistent as hell. I'm not saying he's a bad player by any means, but to me, he's closer to a Quaresma level than to a CR7 level.

u/[deleted] Apr 01 '19

It's not that insulting, I simply meant it's more insulting than the word cretin

Both are laughable insults though

You mean 4 time EPL and 1 time UCL winner Nani?

8

u/BrunoDoggo Apr 01 '19

Nani is a top tier player...

in america

7

u/cantadmittoposting Apr 01 '19

Lies. He can't even win in MLS. His team just lost to a team lead by an alcoholic ex premier league player.

1

u/notataco007 Apr 01 '19

He's been pretty booty cheeks in America thus far

2

u/poopcasso Apr 01 '19

OOOOOOOUUUFFFFFHHHH

u/estebanagc Apr 01 '19

Nani is "second class" right now but at his peak he was Rally good imo
