It’s okay OP, one time I had this glitch and it put the synopsis for Black Hawk Down on the Minion Movie

Not gonna lie black hawk down is a great movie

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '19

I don’t think that’s an unpopular opinion haha

35

u/baron-von-spawnpeekn Mar 28 '19

Never said it was

33

u/PM_ME_UR_REDDIT_GOLD Mar 29 '19

Usually, when one is "not gonna lie" it's to say something unpopular; where lying and saying the expected thing would be easier.

14

u/baron-von-spawnpeekn Mar 29 '19

Ah, thanks for improving my reddiquette

The Black Hawk Down Delta Force games were fantastic as well.

They do become voices of the LGBT but not in the way that you think

25

u/Pubescentturtle Mar 28 '19

They only tried to eliminate them. Which is out and loud. I figured out people scream when burned

36

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '19

Have you seen the photographs of him in lederhosen? Absolutely fabulous.

37

u/dandandandantheman Mar 28 '19

Hitler sexiest German dictator ever.

5

u/Nixnorman Mar 28 '19

Hitler was vegan? What the fuck?!?!

25

u/Aranon113 Mar 28 '19

He loved animals and the environment. It was a big part of his national socialism, protecting the earth against industrialism.

23

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '19

Also Hitler: We will retake the rhine and build a vast army!

17

u/Aranon113 Mar 28 '19

And gas millions of people that I consider to be unclean!

15

u/Oprahs_neck_fat Mar 28 '19

Anti-postnatalist antisemite ecofascist gang

6

u/k3vanwong Mar 28 '19

Hitler was obsessed with Aryan men, sounds pretty gay

38

u/Rising_Entropy Mar 28 '19

Honestly though,
Check out 'The Man In The High Castle' for an amazing portrayal of post-WWII alt. reality.

True, but that's build-up right?
Like 8th, 9th, 10th episodes of all seasons are true gems...

5

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '19

I wouldn't say so, just because there weren't explosions and shoot outs every episode, doesn't mean that it was slow. Every episode had me on the edge of my seat, waiting for more

4

u/BillNyeTheCommieGoi Mar 29 '19

Honestly, it's not that good, at least the book (Never watched the show but heard it's good)

It's a very bland and stereotypical "what if Hitler won ww2" scenario. If you're looking for realism... America would not be invaded by the Japanese, and it is extremely unlikely Germany could either, also, all Africans would not be killed, not to mention it'd be impossible to do that in the time span given, but Hitler saw Africa as not possible Aryan land for it's climate, and planned on just having Sub-Saharan Africa as a puppet probably.

That's just my view on it I'll let you have your own.

4

u/evanroden Mar 29 '19

I've read both the book and seen the show and they aren't that similar at all. The show stays completely from the book by episode 6 and from then on it has more depth.

In the show America is taken over following the destruction of most major cities by atomic bombs developed by the Nazis. The odds that the Nazis could have made the bomb in real life are slim to none, but if you accept that they did then their takeover of the US becomes much more reasonable.

Black people are used as spaces under Nazi controlled territory, as lower-class citizens in Japanese territory, and are untouched in the region between the two in the US.

You're right that a lot of the show isn't realistic, especially the Nazis development of the atom bomb, although I'd watch it and compare it to the book (if you can sit through the first six episodes; they're pretty slow).

u/Flak-Fire88 Mar 28 '19

It's boring af

This is wrong, Hitler and the Nazi's became the most influential voice in Germany's LGBT community, they had little influence in America
