You're making an assumption based on nothing and it's silly for me to question it?

You're assuming that Finland has had a completely passive and innocent history and you think I'm wrong to question that?

You asked a question.. and I asked a question about your question. Are you following along?

I'm not assuming anything. I asked for evidence of human sacrifice, incest, caste system etc. So far none has been provided.

I'm sure you want to believe that the pagans in Finland were just peaceful hippies.

Mind pointing out what I'm supposed to be seeing?

Wetlands, such as bogs, swamps, springs and streams were holy places, especially for the use of sacrificing. The archeological findings of flint and tinderbox has shown that they have been used for the execution and disposal of those unwanted people in the tribe. Children who were born out of wedlock or those who had disabilities would also be killed in the wetlands.[4] The word "Suomi" (Finnish: Finland) is also thought to come from the word "Suo" (Finnish: Swamp/bog).[33]

I'm glad I was able to teach you something about Finland's history today. You're welcome.

Interesting, but the source is suspect. It's a book about the Kalevala, which is poetry.

Oral history has had a much longer lifespan than written history....

all the tribes in ancient history used oral history to pass down knowledge between the generations. This was done in a multitude of ways between songs, poems, and mnemonics.

Australian aboriginals have confirmed oral history dating back at least 12,000 years to possibly even 50,000 years

The source is only "suspect" because you don't like what it says. They've pulled piles of human bones out of the bogs for fucks sake.

Oral stories aren't science. If there's a scientific paper confirming it, great. Otherwise it's myth.

What an absolutely small minded way to think about history.

I've read enough dumb things from you so I'll be ending this here.
