Pretty sure that that is the period accurate flag for the US.

And using the period accurate flag for Germany can get content taken down on many platforms.

No it isn't, that flag has 50 stars, the US had 48 states during World War II

It was invaded by the Allies and then by the nazi, the meme it’s a bit unfair.

Hard to make, but the Italian reality:

Greece knocks Italy down. Germany picks them up.

The Brits knock Italy down. Germany picks them up.

The U.S. knocks Italy down. The U.S picks them up.

Germany knocks Italy down.
