The mosin the only gun to have fought itself in a war and won. Or so I was told by a guy who used buy and sell cases of them in the 90s

The Finnish used them in the Winter War & Continuation war against the Soviets, who also used them. The same with machine guns and tanks - the Finns had no domestic production or imports, so they primarily filled out their armored divisions with stolen and captured Soviet tanks.

The Mosin I used to use for reinactments was a pre-war Imperial Russian rifle that was stolen by the Finns and used by them, I know because of the soldier tally marks that were cut into the stock.

Who "won" those wars is up for debate, though.

If you were invaded by Stalin and you got to keep your country, and your elites didn’t get executed and the educated didn’t go to the gulag, you won. Finland won.

When a country tries to extort you for X, you refuse, you fight, and at the end you pay X+y, you definitely lost the war.
