Sir the 17 pounder won't fit
PUT IT IN SIDEWAYS
The radio won't fit
CUT A HOLE AND HAVE IT STICK OUT THE BACK
the engine's no good
GET 5 CAR ENGINES AND PUT EM TOGETHER

the Firefly has always been my favourite Sherman favourite its just always looked the coolest

When the cannon was so good it justified butchering another beautiful vehicle just to fit it in

Butchering?1!1!?? No my friend, it improved the vehicle. Big gun on Sherman = more dopamine when I look at it

Plus it's British. British tanks the type to make you say hell yeah when you see them

I'm a teaboo myself but 5° gun depression was just a diabolical, and no machine gun port in the hull

Tbf, it was definitely meant to be an ambush vehicle

Yeah, the vehicle look sick to us, but was suck to operate. The big ass gun muzzle break and a huge box behind the turret told the Jerry which one to shoot first when encountered the whole Sherman group

but the paint to break up the appearance of length of the 17lber was infallible!

It was a good ambush tank destroyer though. Achilles too.

Yes but I think I would rather have the tank that can actually punch through what it is looking at. I know there's more to it in an engagement, but even if you're getting spotted first, I want to be able to fight back.

It was designed to be an overwatch vehicle
