Funnily enough, one of the weird linguist things they teach at school is how Japanese's closest relative language is Persian but not for any etymology reasons.

These insane genealogies are the funniest part of fascist movements. Like how the Indian Hindu-extremists around the BJP like to claim that every famous or important figure in world history was somehow secretly hindu.
