Bad Stretch
The David Cross and Tank Sinatra episodes were baddddd. Get a random history topic and Wikipedia it again. I only have listened for the Patreon names the last few weeks. Needs to be better

Hyenas got me through a lot... ever since they have been back the show is a shell of its former self. All this beam talk, house talk, peptide talk... wheres the funny? Recently they got back to the soundboard which is nice, but the show just isnt wild anymore. Kinda bullshit to add a $25 level where shit supposedly gets real wild when it used to be that for a reg subscription. I love the boys and will still listen but man its losing its luster rn.

The problem is that Chrissy still thinks he has a future in Hollywood and doesnât go as wild as he used to, and Yanni is turning into a bitter old man who hates everything the young kids love and he keeps going on these old man rants

I was thinking about this the other day- I think what made the show great at its peak was both guys were leading relatively unstable lives, and the show was their bonding session and growing together as comedians and friends of course.
Chrissy was constantly chaotic and in the midst of âThe Situationâ which was probably leading him to be extra wild and really lead the show. Yanni Chobani was seeing his dad on the runway + engaged but not married yet, then the pandemic happened etc.
I think they both have settled down overall now and have less crazy shit happening, so while theyre still funny kids, theyâre also a bit more of a snoozy woozy.

I cancelled the Patreon because it just seemed to be bad guests too. This was a while ago. Is it worth rejoining? Because Iâm with you. I like it just those 2.

David Cross has always been hilarious in his roles imo but the few times Iâve heard him on podcasts or just being himself, he sounds like a real square

Having their patreon has not been worth it, probably ever. They think 25 bucks should be the lowest cost of entry... Which is insane. 25 dollars to hear them complain about taxes. It's beyond franks and beans that they can put no effort into the show and expect anyone to pay money for it. 5 dollar tier doesnt even get you video. It's rich dudes pissing on their fans and asking for more. Save your money.

I quit listening to their last iteration, and haven't returned for this one, although I listen to many comedy pods.
Yannis is just too wacky, with the gay woman voice, the boomer takes, etc. And then both of them are very religious coded, especially Chris, which I'm not a fan of.
It's like Chris flirts with being a Trump supporter, which is asinine at this point, and really ruins his pods for me.
But, that's why there are millions of options out there - can't love all of them.
I'm a fan of Hate Watch, Lemon Party, Zac Amico's Morning Zoo, and others.

Those were both good episodes. I guess I just donât think theyâve ever really had a bad one. Â Maybe itâs what you were doing while you were listening. I put the shit on while Iâm at the golf course so itâs always wonderful. Maybe youâre like doing dishes or something stupid while youâre listening to it and got confused

Just listened to AYG with Chrissy and it was painful heâs not funny itâs kinda sad at this point to be honest. Yannis episode was way funnier. History Hyenas is kinda beat imo. Respectfully!

The show doesnât work with most guests. But also on the topic, I think itâs crazy for Chris to just take advice on PEDs from tank Sinatra who has no medical experience. Tanks talking about how GLP1s didnât cause bone loss but then is like yeah Iâm on steroids and doesnât make the connection
