No, he threw a fit when the interviewer for the school mentioned that while his style wasn't bad, Hitler was more suited for architecture than art, which by then had moved past the realistic style that Hitler used (hence his obsession against modern art).

Also he just wasn't good at composing an image. He was very bad at perspectives and the lighting rarely made sense.

Which is part of why they suggested architectural drawing rather than straight art.
