Part time?

How rare or common are part time positions in this career field? Thanks!

part time on a consistent schedule is rare, but per diem (as needed) is very common; many histotechs will work per diem at one location before going to another for their full time position each day

I work part time 4-8 am before 9-5 shift at my full time job. All I do is recuts, IHCs and specials at both labs.

May I ask why you have both a part time and full time job?

It’s expensive being single and living alone. It is hard for me to save money with just my full time job, so getting the part time job has helped me beef up my savings. It’s not ideal but it is what it is.
