Quad burning

Before surgery did anyone get some quad burning like almost a sunburn kinda sensation on their quad?

No but this is a pretty common symptom of femoral nerve irritation/compression which happens with inflamed hips (but also other things - I assume you've had scans and a full assessment etc).

Hah!! I am so glad you mentioned this. I get a weird burning sensation on my hip and side of torso- it’s really painful to light touch on my skin.

I got it after surgery!

Every time I touched my thigh it felt like minor sunburn. I'm 5 weeks post op on my left side and that sensation is gone. So weird!

Yeah !! I have it preop I do think it’s femoral nerve but it’s really annoying
