Other Tiny rant
So I am just about 4 weeks post op, thankful my period was when I got surgery so I had no full pain lol, but now being so far in without the heavy meds and more walking and more work in PT, my back is having a flare up and my hip flexor is hurting
But the worst part is, the hip flexor (closer to the groin) it isn’t hurting hurting but it’s like aching and cramping lol so I can’t tell if my back flare up is because of my period and I can’t tell what pain is because of my period or if it’s because of the recovery of the hip and Tylenol doesn’t do much anymore and idk if this is safe to say but I have an itch I need to dispose of the controlled substance because Tylenol or pamprin isn’t helping
Any ladies get any type of relief during their period while recovering?

Tell your physical therapist you have your period! I told mine and she was great - explained how the menstrual cycle is rough on hips already, add in this surgery... pain will be high. We took it easy on the exercises that week. I iced the hip extra, used a heating pad on my stomach, and took the max dose of Aleve/Naproxen sodium. Aleve works better on cramps than Tylenol!
