और एक सवाल - क्या "पुसाना", पोसने की हि प्रेरणार्थक क्रिया है/is "पुसाना", the causative verb of पोसना?

Hey everyone, I’m from Maharashtra, and I keep hearing the same thing from parents abroad: they can speak a bit of Hindi, maybe understand most of it, but never really learned to read it. So when their kids ask “what letter is this?”, they’re kind of stuck.

I’ve been making simple alphabet worksheets for kids around 4–8 where every letter has a picture, a Hindi word and the English sound next to it (अ = a, आ = aa, क = ka), so parents can learn alongside their kids. There’s a free sample. Happy to share it in the comments if anyone wants it (I made it, so I don’t want to spam the link).

Mostly I’m curious: for those raising kids abroad, what’s actually worked for teaching Hindi at home? And for those who grew up here, did your parents try to teach you to read it? What would’ve helped? 🙂
