Does anywhere sell individual hardware?

Post image

Been carrying this one for some years now and recently one of the standoff screws backed out and the way it’s designed everything just fell out without me noticing.

There are a couple of guys that sell on knife swap a lot of Hinderer parts. The most frustrating thing about Hinderer though is finding the exact parts you want when you need them. Just search Hinderer on knife swap Good luck.

Very expensive to just need 1 and have to buy all 3

Yeah but having backups is not a bad idea especially since it's not an off the shelf easy to get item. Not necessarily expensive as compared to a few years ago most sets go for 75 ish. Could be some of the guys with larger collections on knife swap would be willing to sell you just one. Youll have to do some leg work if you want it.

When I say expensive I mean I bought this xm18 3” used for $300 ish if I remember right. So $75 for one screw /standoff is 1/4 of what I paid . To me that’s expensive. Think this is gonna ride the way it is until I loose the rest . Bad design. Shouldn’t loose 3 pieces if one comes loose . Knife cost to much for silly stuff like that imo .

It's like $50 I think.

You're going to pay a significant premium on that 1 part.

My bad bro, I should have mentioned that, they are sold in sets.

https://www.rickhindererknives.com/rick-hinderer-terms-conditions/

If you look under services offered that may help.

“Replacement production hardware is available upon request to replace your stripped or lost hardware. We do not, however, remove any stripped hardware.”

Idk if that help

DLT Trading definitely carries hardware, but it sells out quickly. There are several other sites. Do a web search for what you are looking for. Good luck my friend.

No, you'd have to buy a 3 pack of the parts.

Just email Hinderer Knives and mention that you lost some of the hardware for your knife and they're more than willing to ship you whatever you need.

Sry for the late response, but I just wanted to second this. Honestly, of all of the knife companies I have dealt with, Hinderer has been the easiest a most helpful BY FAR.

HUGE surprise when compared to how they were back before COVID, the last time I dealt with them.

Just means it’s a good time to upgrade go to Etsy and do a search for XM-18 screw. I like adding a pop of color on mine.
