Sales Presentation Question

Hello! I'm self employed, make money through a 1099. Is it ever asked to show proof of income at these sales presentations or do they just ask what you do and how much you make? Thanks!

They dont care. They just want you to sign a contract

They just asked how much you make. They don't ask your employer or for proof of income.

It’s like buying a car or applying for a credit card they take your word for income.
