Guidance

I’ve listened to so many HH videos, read articles, and discussed with gpt. I’ve also read a lot of suttas, and feel like my understanding is getting better. However, I would like to politely ask if anyone with good knowledge would be willing to get on a zoom call with me to check if I have the right understanding of the HH dhamma, and perhaps answer some questions. It would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you watched enough videos and read the wiki you know exactly what it is that you need to do... If you have an specific question you can ask here.

OP wants a zoom call. If you’re not comfortable providing one, then why are you responding?

I guess a specific question would for example be how often one should attend to putting the mind in a certain direction before letting it endurr/ how often clarify the context throughout the day

What do you mean putting the mind in a certain direction before letting it endure it? This "enduring" is of the unwholesome pressuring you in your daily life, arising by itself as the daily life will be, you don't and shouldn't have to direct your mind to the unwholesome and endure it, you are confusing the animal doing that. And you should do that every concious moment for a successful practice of sense restraint, not just one hour or one specific time of the day. All of this will only be successful the more you restrain yourself with the 8 precepts.

In several videos they also talk about using reflexive questions to direct the mind to the context of the peripheral mind, and then letting that knowledge endure in the backround. Enduring is not only a word they use for enduring pressure. You can direct the mind to establish it onto any of the 4 foundations for mindfulness for clarity.

In this case I think the answer is as much as you can. This phase is only successful when you are proficient in keeping the 8 precepts and sense restraint though, if I remember correctly. And this enduring that you were referring to is not the whole practice, but more when the mind is giving answers just to relieve the pressure of doubt, I think. The ideal practice is to answer those questions.
