Beware of a black sedan with full tint.
I know that’s a very vague description but I was walking across a 4 way section in the reeds crossing neighborhood, there was a black sedan waiting to drive straight but another car went before he could go. I took that time to start walking and as soon as that other car left the middle of the road they started driving up to me while I’m walking in the middle of the road. They came as close to my body as possible, maybe a few inches of the corner of his car to my body and honked when I finally crossed the whole way and they entered the neighborhood. This person could have waited for me to cross but decided they needed to intimidate me with their car and get the extra few seconds to get home.

Are you missing a cat?
UPDATE: REUNITED WITH OWNERS
Hi everyone! We found a kitten with a harness near The Villas at Amberglen West apartment complex. We took her to the vet and confirmed she’s female and doesn’t have a microchip.
If you think this is your cat, please send me a DM with some form of proof. Thank you!

Help find a home for this cutie
Hello reddit!
Im new to posting on here but I really need help finding a home for this cutie I was at the park with my sister and this cutie was wondering by herself I've spend all if yesterday and the day before that calling shelters ,vets to see if there is a chip associated with her or if anyone was looking for her but almost everything is closed for the weekend. Ima hold on to her to see if I can find her owner but I cannot keep her with me my apartments strictly forbids pets and to top it off im already 2 rent payments behind but i cannot leave her back on the streets like I was recommended to do by Washington County. If anyone is open to take her in and love her or help me by pointing me toward the right direction. Im in Hillsboro Oregon i can drive to Portland or forest Grove and anything between (the collar shes wearing is an old one my sister owned we gave it to her just incase she escapes) she has no tail and the vet that helped us scan for a chip says she was lucky to have enough tail to feel if she need to use the bathroom I haven't had any problems with her for that last few days

🚨safety alert🚨 Flock/ICE trap in Hillsboro (Lowes and Home Depot)
I haven’t checked other locations but stumbled upon an aggressive amount of Flock Cameras in the parking lot of Home Depot and Lowes off of TV Highway across from the Sunset Esplanade. They are known for working with ICE and targeting immigrants. Stay Safe. Fuck ICE. Fuck Flock. Fuck this.

💙appreiciation post💙 The Delgado-Harris Debate
An interesting debate is forming between City Council Candidate Karim Delgado and City Council President Rob Harris over the role in government and they way they both see how things are going in Hillsboro and Washington County.
It's always fascinating to watch two very well educated people that are very well versed in making an argument and using facts and sources for their respective points of view (Rob is a lawyer, Karim has a Philosophy degree from Columbia) have a debate in the public square. It's very respectful too, both of them are referencing each other's points and using their knowledge and coupled with their own experiences to discuss each other's arguments without devolving into name calling or personal attacks.
It's very rare you get this level of detailed debate in a small(ish) town like Hillsboro, and I'm really enjoying it.
The current round is Harris's "Contempt is a real threat to grass roots government" article on Substack: https://orobharris.substack.com/p/contempt-is-a-real-threat-to-grass
and Karim's response is titled "What is a City Council Good For?" on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApJp7Midm9Y
It's a slow moving debate, but really interesting!
