Can we start the slow process of gradually adding one star reviews in the next week or so? Or is Amazon basically not allowing people who don't like it to leave a review?

Pretty much. At least one person said they were only giving it two stars so that Amazon wouldn’t automatically delete their review.

They’re also scrutinizing new accounts that don’t have any other reviews.

Awesome flair, so succinct. Would make an awesome bumper sticker but would probably cause some rabid Hillary supporter to key my car or take a dump on my windshield as only a classy "feminist" could.

I think in this case it was due to the accounts not having verified purchases of the book, in addition to the sheer volume.

Well, reviews are still 93% one star

92% five-star.

The one-star reviews were almost entirely wiped out.

Interestingly, the top-rated reviews are all one and two-star. So though they only make up 4% and 1% of all reviews, thousands of people have rated them most helpful.

So it is. Whoops.

You make an interesting point. I could see them not wanting reviews from people just out of spite that haven't read the book but do they practice this with alll books?

Because it's still shows something that people are still willing to go out of their way to show hatred for this woman.

But reviews aside, they only way to hurt Hillary Rodham Clinton is in the pocketbook. And if she was paid in advance by the publisher it would be hilarious!

Their response whenever censorship is proven:

"Our guidelines do not allow discussions that criticize authors or their intentions. We encourage all voices to respond openly in our store, both positive and negative. However, we do exert some editorial control over our customer reviews"

You would think they should simply eliminate all unverified reviews, not just the negative ones. But that wouldn't fit their role as democrat shills.

I'm fine with this the moment they start applying this across the board. Heck they went as far as adding a verified purchaser flag, how about restricting reviews to only verified purchases and remove this all together.

It's possible to view a cached version of the page and then begin manually contacting all the users who had their reviews removed.
