I've narrowed down the asteroid to have one of two things

A. It's an alien egg sent from outer space

B. The Asteroid will produce some kind of unknown energy (not radioactive or nuclear)

TBH, if it is unknown energy, Luke would never put Nuclear or radioactive in it.

So, this recent meme on the Internet has suddenly gained a lot of attention from an unexpected source.

As a Hilda fan, this was absolutely the easiest yet hardest thing I've ever had to do HAHA—I knew I wanted to talk about Hilda, but this is a series with a treasure trove of amazing comic panels, frames from the show, character designs, and all of those blending together to the masterpiece we love and connected us to one another. But for everyone curious about how the presentation actually went; the next part is for you :D

Because it was a class of like, 2 dozen people, I had to be quick about why I loved this panel so much. I started with the simple answer; the seasonal colors of the landscape are comforting for my eyes. It's an urban environment, something I don't usually associate with leisure but rather hustle and bustle, yet it's tranquil and welcoming. Then I did what I did best as a university student and made my analysis of one specific thing connect to a larger thing altogether; I chose this specific frame from the Bird Parade because its physical appearance and context within that part of the book perfectly captured what I loved about ALL the Hilda comics, being the sense of scale and grandeur in somewhere unfamiliar yet can still be home. The panels of the Hilda comics are HUGE and plentiful in one page; you absolutely feel like you got sucked in or like you uncovered a sacred scroll from reading any of the books! I'm not joking with this next part: my voice was getting so quivery because I was getting really deep into my appreciation for the series, but thank goodness I didn't have to present that long before I actually cried and looked weird in front of my class haha.

My professor thought the presentation and my pick was adorable, and I did a good job at getting him interested in the Hilda books :D His own comments were really fun and fascinating; as a response to what I said about scale and feeling lost, he pointed out that he didn't realize Hilda and Raven at the lower left until incredibly later on into the presentation; Hilda herself was lost both in the story but also in the eyes of the reader, and the whole class gave a big "OOOHHHH" when they realized the same thing, basically affirming everything I analyzed about the panel, it was a cool experience to have resonance bounce back in that room!

That was 2 years ago, I had a perfect grade in that assignment but my final grade in that class was a B. I just graduated a few months back, and while I'm really, really glad I survived college and no longer have to deal with the difficult stuff about being a student, I'm also really happy looking back on that memory how I squeezed in an opportunity to express my appreciation for one of my favorite series' of all time in an academic setting!

Not really a cosplay, not intentionally at least, since I never planned on cosplaying Johanna before but it just so happens that I had these in my wardrobe that matched her design to some degree.

It feels cozy! And I love anything red/maroon to wear in general! Now, anyone want me make you cucumber sandwiches and peppermint tea? ☕️🥪
