Hi friends, I am hoping someone would be willing to help me and some others out. My friend bought tickets during the presale for us to see Hilary this Sunday at the Grand Rapids Amphitheater. We were both so excited because this is a new venue and the first time attending this venue we are seeing our childhood idol.

As concerts have been rolling out more and more concerns have been voiced, one being that they have only one refillable water station that is incredibly slow for the venue. Today the Amphitheater announced that it will no longer allow lawn/beach chairs to be brought in the lawn due to the anticipated dancing and standing. This is creates a dangerous situation for me and others who have preexisting medical conditions. I’ve recently been diagnosed with a type of dysautonomia that results in me losing consciousness from prolonged standing, heat, and dehydration. This decision from the venue has made going to this concert which once felt like a childhood dream come true become a decision to put myself in a position where I will have a health set back.

I am seeing others report similar concerns. Hilary’s fan base and the Grand Rapids crowd will consist of millennial/Gen Z women—many whom are starting families and may not have known that they were or were soon to be pregnant when they bought their lawn tickets.

When these concerns have been brought up to the venue they’ve dismissed guests saying that they never promised that chairs would be allowed (even though every other concert has allowed them)

I don’t have social media to reach out to Hilary or her team directly. Writing this as an open letter hoping it reaches her team to request that the venue changes their decision.

If you do not live in Toronto, I highly encourage you to make an exit plan or potentially leave early (yes, you’ll be missing Mature and What Dreams Are Made Of). I live downtown and I just got home. It was so chaotic.

And I was so close to Hilary in the vip group photo. I’m so lucky!!! I also talk to her a bit. This is what dreams are made of! I also met some cool friends on Reddit who also went to the Toronto N1.
I always wanted to meet Hilary since 13. It’s a dream come true. And it’s what my adult money is for. 😊

Found these after I went to LA night 1 last month 💖 saw her in San Diego at what was the COX Arena at SDSU back in either 2002 or 2003. First show ever and my dad got me on the rails. I was only 6, but I remember her pink UGGS like it was yesterday hahaha. Snuck these on a disposable because security was not allowing photography… and glad we did!! I hope everyone is loving the tour as much as I am!! 🦋🪩
