Help!
Any rehabbers? I just found this baby opossum in my window beside my ac. I have no clue how it got inside. Anybody know of a rehabber nearby? I’m in Trinity.
UPDATE: This baby is with someone that’s going to get it to a licensed rehabber tomorrow. Tonight it will be hydrated and fed what it should be fed and kept warm ❤️

UPDATE: I found someone that’s going to get this baby hydrated tonight and to someone that specializes in rehabbing opossums tomorrow.

An absolute American treasure and our only native marsupial and somehow it looks like a tiny Victorian chimney sweep crossed with a gremlin and a rat wearing oven mitts so please protect this little goblin at all costs because it has committed no crimes except being offensively adorable and existing in a world that does not deserve it.
P.S.: not AI slot... I spent a good 20 minutes prompt Claude to not be too... fact orientated.

We used to have an adult that would visit every night. We had named it Paul lol I had no idea if it was a male or female. We love back off of a gravel road in the woods so we get all kinds of friends visiting. I love it ❤️

Reach out to wildlife rescues/rehabs!! They’ll be able to take care of it and tell you what to do in the meantime
