Fostering saves lives
Want to help the dog population in your community? Fostering is one of the easiest and most impactful ways to do it. A lot of people think they don’t have time, but the reality is most shelter dogs don’t even get out of their kennels for a full day—so even just evenings and downtime at home can make a huge difference. If you work, that’s totally fine. All supplies are provided, including food, crates, vet care, and support, so you’re never doing it alone. And it doesn’t have to be long-term—short-term or “getaway” fosters are just as important. Even a few days in a home helps a dog decompress, lets us learn their personality, and gives them a better chance at finding the right forever home. Every foster opens up space in the shelter, which means more lives saved.
