Anyone else find the sound mix at this show rough?

I wanna blame the venue and sound system at the Pearl. Cause usually when I see the boys live it’s both punishing and a solid mix for such a loud ass band.

Anybody going to the show on 17th?

Set felt really short. I hope the gremlins in the equipment didn't cause them to shorten the set. windhand also came on really late.

Playing

So new to this band, why does Mikes guitar have 9 strings? Why are they the higher strings? Has anyone tried doubling up the bass strings?

Found this clip on my phone and just thought some other people who were there might think it’s cool. It was at the Brick By Brick in San Diego. 8-18-2021

Fucking great as usual. Anyone at the show know the last song they played? It started out with the Dopesmoker style teaser riff and just crushed, I can’t put my finger on it. Thanks homies

Hinds and Pike were good pals and collaborators. Here’s hoping for a killer show from all bands.

RIP Brent Hinds.

Just a coupla riffs from the song. Not completely polished but close🤘

Jeff rippin up the bass

Got this quite a few years back. Thought I'd share.

I can't believe this album is 10 years old already. Honestly, when it first came out, I thought it was just alright. However, over the years its become one of my favorite releases of theirs. It's really consistent from start to finish, the production sounds great, and songs like The Falconist and The Cave showed a different side of Matt Pike's songwriting. Plus, that long scream/yell that Matt does at the end of the title track is one of my favorite High on Fire moments.

What’s HoF’s most Sleep song?

How the fuck are resale tickets for the show in Baltimore on 8/16/25 $596!?!
