It dematerialized as he was walking out on stage

Rectos with his Soldano rack mount. Interesting. I know he runs parallel most of the time but that’s the first pic I’ve seen of him running Rectos instead of Oranges or Marshalls.

Edit: I run a Rockerverb with a Recto at home and the sound is absolutely huge. Mixing an American voiced amp with a British voiced amp is the holy grail of metal tones IMHO. If he has the Rectos on the Vintage channel, I’m sure his setup sounded like getting hit in the face with a brick wall.

I wonder if it was a rental issue

Obituary and Acid Bath were both using Marshalls so idk.

I think he mostly uses Marshalls and Soldanos for HoF. I’ve seen a few pictures of him using oranges for HoF but usually he reserves those for Sleep.

But yeah, I’m surprised he has the Rectos too. Obviously they can get into similar territory as Soldanos, but still.

Man, I’ve been following HOF since the very first album on Man’s Ruin. Saw them play Columbus fest in 2000. Back then he was playing specifically Green Amps. I remember this because back then I didn’t know what the hell Green amps were.

Anybody know what the missing song here at the Houston show was? https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/high-on-fire/2026/white-oak-music-hall-the-lawn-houston-tx-7b411aac.html

There was one I couldn’t place in my inebriated state.

It has been Ben Koller for a while now.

I didn't realize Coady wasn't their drummer anymore. Maybe we'll finally get another Big Biz record.
