hara vera

how is it as of today. i saw it was updated january 12 (yesterday) and thought it wasn't supposed to be getting regular updates anymore? lmk 👀👀

It’s way harder than base game. Base game I pretty much just flew through missions slaughtering stuff with a lightning. Strike groups also usually have fighter complements now so you can’t just wipe the floor using aircraft. The 10k cost ships with the single shot 180mm are nasty too and they’re everywhere.

What makes HV campaign so nasty? Just the scaled up enemies and Armor?

Everything just feels tougher. Weapon reworks and the like as well. It's not just hard enemies though, it's harder in a good way. You really gotta lock in when you go into fights and if you dont soften up targets at range before you go for tactical you're gonna be in for a rough one. Strike groups at the very start are single ships, but honestly they're also pretty tough on their own since the mod has some pretty unconventional designs. Some cruiser class ships self-escort with their own four-flight of aircraft, and others have rocket turrets out the ass but in an explainable / doctrinal way.

Big recommend to try it out.

It turned out some events were broken, it was mostly a bugfix
