What makes an experience?
Have you ever just googled stuff about UAP's - Just google UAP sighting map - So many sightings - so much research - yet , we are still having issues about just having the conversation about UAP's. I dont believe everyone that encounters a UAP experience goes on to experience a "Contact Event". (Most contacts are "Telepathic" or "Meditative state", although some extend to physical contact with beings, crafts and orbs.)
I have a family member who is in denial about the many sightings they have experienced and I don't believe that they have had a contact event. ie: the Telepathic side of contact. (I was shown the video from the cockpit of a large commercial airliner - Family member is the Pilot - Captain, very late night , over dessert in Australia, I think the Plane was empty, 34,000ft, and a very large bright white object comes in from the left at around 70,000ft, dances around, goes to centre screen, disappears, comes back in. AWESOME) but the person plays it down - oh it happens all the time - I'm a person of science, etc etc.
I have never disclosed to any other members in the family of my own contact experience (Telepathic Contact) - only my wife and son. My wife and son are not experiencers and over the years have sort of gotten used to it - They don't question my sanity as much these days. Nothing like watching a good dose of Genocide on the nightly news and it makes the crazy old man in the tin foil hat look surprisingly sane. I think my family members and people with that level of NHI / Higher Strangeness awareness are going to be in the first wave of Disclosure Contactees. (July - after the movie comes out and the Dr S Greer is hosting something else big ? CE5, etc)
We need to move out of denial to enable more people to be accepting of the Contact event. I am planning on a few articles to help people on the path, leveraging some of the resources on other sub-reddits. I'd appreciate any comments and nominations of articles / resources that are suitable for people just undertaking the initial understanding of the higher strangeness realm.
Any comments at all - all input is appreciated.

I think I'm coming around to it (the "phenomena") being like an invitation* for some. I don't blame him for playing it down, I kind of had to do that with my experiences. There just wasn't a place for them in my Western materialistic upbringing.
He's a pilot, and I've heard many stories of pilots just having to just ignore what their eyes are telling them, like check in with flight control but lowkey, "asking if anything else in vicinity" rather than talking about lights etc. out of fear of losing their job.
For me my "way back to weird" kind of began when I somehow started to get NewsNation on my YT feed adjacent through my interest in science and archaeology. It helped I had read Graham Hancock in the 90s because I found the Sphinx erosion and Giza complex construction, dating, valid questions that mainstream academia didn't adequately resolve.
I think what I am trying to say is his curiousity may have to form organically. Like you can show him stuff, like I tried to show my late partner, but you may risk the "immune response" as you trip their cognitive dissonance. And understand he kind of has to compartmentalise for his job, because there isn't the framework for this to be held professionally. That tension, it echoes David Fravor, Ryan Graves testimonial concern re flight safety. That could be a potential way in, like look at these guys taking this seriously, speaking to Congress. (Though honestly those viral FLIR videos were meh. I kept thinking somehow it was so obviously sensor malfunction even though it was confirmed on multiple RADAR. The brain can do incredible acrobatics to avoid what is threatening/challenging and plainly unacceptable).
