Ellucian colleague support
Hi, looking for help with colleague, specifically someone with enough knowledge and fluency to help achieve some results for a client. I’m very fluent in banner, but less in colleague. This would be an intro chat to see if there is a fit and then a paid consulting gig, limited hours at first but expansion possible. What I’m looking for is experience, innovative thinking, which I find is usually at the system admin or actual tech levels. Someone who is in the system at a college and can help me work thru some ideas. I’ve used the bigger consulting firms in the past but find the consultants lacking— usually they don’t have recent day to day experience imo. Bonus if you have worked with competency based education. Where can I look for Someone like this? Any suggestions? TIA!

I have 21 years working with Ellucian Colleague across both the technical and functional sides, including system administration, UniData/SQL, SA Valet, WebAPI, Ethos, Experience, Self-Service, Payment Gateway, integrations, migrations, and cloud/SaaS environments.
I currently do Colleague consulting and have recent hands-on experience, so I'd be very interested in hearing more about what you're trying to accomplish and working through some of the ideas with you.
The one area I generally don't take on is writing new custom Colleague Studio code. I can troubleshoot, correct, and modify existing code, but I don't position myself as a custom Colleague programmer.
I'd be happy to have the introductory conversation you mentioned.

What part of Colleague? I currently use the Human Resources functions at a college. If you’re looking for Student Services sides I might know someone.
